Bummer planting has bee suspended a lot this year.
From the Dec 7th Bakersfield Californian:
KERN: Trout plants in the Bakersfield area have been temporarily suspended because the Kern River Hatchery had a pump fail, and the hatchery has been unable to hold fish. There have been no plants for the past three to four weeks and the hatchery's reopening date has not been set.

Maybe that explanes the lack of reports from anyone. Lets hope that they get it fixed soon.
