Kern Hatchery

I took my 6yr old grandson on an overnighter up to Headquarters CG this weekend. Saturday afteroon I took him for his first trip to the hatchery and the museum in town. What a great way to spend an afternoon in the KV with family, especially young ones. The volunteers at both places were very friendly and helpful. The volunteer at the hatchery walked my grandson through the entire hatchery museum and filled him in on all kinds of fun facts. We ended the afternoon with a pic-nik in the park before we started for home. I just want to say thank you to those that volunteer there time to both places. You folks helped me make a special memory with my grandson. I highly recomend to anyone a stop at both the hatchery and the museum. There is no charge but a donation is recomended and appreciated.
