Wildflowers

How's the KRV looking this year for wildflowers? Anything showing yet? I'm hoping to come up in a couple of weeks.

If I can't catch fish in the river at least I can enjoy the view! (I'll be trying Isabella for sure.)

Thanks!

I guess I'll have to respond to my own post! Got back from a 3 day Kern adventure on Sunday March 15. The view of the poppies covering the hills as we drove through the canyon was spectacular! In all the years I've been coming to the Kern in the spring I've never seen anything like it!

Lots of flowers out now and looks like with a little luck and not too much dry weather, there will be lots more.

I was up this weekend also and have to agree with you the wildflowers are really starting to come out. I was hoping that spring would hold off a little longer and the mountains would get some more snow. At least it all looking beautiful.
