Anybody got into any quail this year. Heading up Sunday to try.

found 2 coveys in 2 hrs, promised wifey I would be back for breakfast. Bagged 4 birds, should have been 6, I let the old dog down as usuall

So has anybody gone out? Wondering if the west side or the east side of the valley foothill areas is better this year. Any info on even spotting them would be greatly appreciated. Want to get some excercise for myself and my dog. Thanks

I should be back @ Onyx next week after Christmas, I hope to get at least 1 more day if not 2 looking for more Quail. Again it depends if the weather holds, it's been pouring for 3 days now

wow, went out the day before Christmas by myself and saw more birds in years
got a couple , of course should of had more
great to get out and see dog work and get a little exercise
